King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center distributes 1,160 food baskets in Abyan Governorate as part of the second phase of emergency interventions.

The King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center has launched the distribution of 1,160 food baskets in Abyan Governorate, as part of the second phase of the Emergency Food Assistance Project in Yemen. This initiative aims to support needy families, displaced persons, teachers, and host families in the governorate.
The Secretary-General of the Local Council in Abyan Governorate, Mahdi Al-Hamid, praised the generous and continuous support provided by Saudi Arabia through the King Salman Center. He emphasized that this aid represents a significant boost in alleviating the suffering of the residents and meeting their essential food needs.
Al-Hamid noted that these interventions are part of the humanitarian efforts exerted by the Kingdom to support the Yemeni people across various governorates and to enhance food security for the most vulnerable groups.
