أكد مدرب ليفربول الهولندي آرني سلوت أن النجم المصري محمد صلاح لا يواجه أي مشكلة داخل الفريق، مشيراً إلى أنه يستعد حالياً للمشاركة مع منتخب مصر في كأس أمم أفريقيا.
وعاد صلاح إلى قائمة الفريق في المباراة التي انتهت بفوز ليفربول على برايتون بهدفين نظيفين، بعد استبعاده إثر تصريحات مثيرة للجدل، حيث شارك كبديل وصنع هدفاً حاسماً تجاوز به رقم واين روني القياسي في المساهمات التهديفية بالدوري الإنجليزي الممتاز، مسجلاً مساهمته رقم 277 (188 هدفاً و89 تمريرة حاسمة).
