دان مجلس الأمن الدولي رواندا الجمعة للمرة الأولى على خلفية دعمها هجوما للمتمردين في جمهورية الكونغو الديموقراطية، داعيا كيغالي إلى سحب قواتها فورا.
وتم بالإجماع تبنّي القرار الذي “يدين بشدة الهجوم الجاري وتقدّم (متمردي) ام23 في شمال كيفو وجنوب كيفو بدعم من القوات الرواندية”.
