Kuwaiti air defenses intercept hostile missile and drone attacks

The Kuwaiti Army General Staff announced today, Thursday, that air defense systems are currently countering missile and hostile drone attacks, following what it described as an unjust Iranian aggression on Kuwaiti territory.

In a press statement carried by the Kuwait News Agency KUNA, the General Staff confirmed that the sounds of explosions that may be heard in some areas are due to the air defenses intercepting missiles and drones, urging citizens and residents to adhere to the security and safety instructions issued by the relevant authorities.

These developments occur amid a dangerous escalation in the region, with repeated Kuwaiti affirmations of its right to protect its sovereignty and security from any external aggression.
