Oil prices recorded a slight decline in futures trading today, Thursday, amid fluctuations in global energy markets.
Brent crude futures fell by 43 cents, or 0.45%, to reach $95.20 per barrel, while U.S. West Texas Intermediate crude futures decreased by 24 cents, or 0.26%, registering $90.77 per barrel.
This decline comes as markets monitor developments in global demand, the movement of the dollar, and production forecasts in major oil-producing countries.
